We would get 1 night here, 1 night there a couple of trailers on our property to stay in for a week and then it had to go back because it was booked previously for that date and they would have another one brought. While being out of the house RBC had a hard time finding us accommodations leaving us to find our own. First of all, we went with their approved vendors which would show up for a couple of days and then you wouldn't see or hear from them for another 3-5 days and sometimes not there for a week or more, it took them almost 6 months to replace to floors and cedar ceiling on the lower floor. We were out of the house for the repairs to be done from the beginning of June 2020 - December 24th, 2020. From the moment of the call to RBC, it was nothing but problems. We had 1 claim in 2020 because of a massive flood due to a faulty dishwasher. My family and I have been long-time RBC customers till now. you have to have ready for the call so have fun taking them everywhere you go or just not going anywhere for those 2 days as you wait, you know cause we all have 2 days to sit around waiting for a company we PAY to get back to us. Oh, and it also tells you all these documents etc.
So if you are actually a busy person as many are and you need to speak to someone THAT day to get something done because it is when you managed to find time.good luck, it ain't happening. One such annoying thing it tells you is that you can go online and 'request a call' but when you hang up to do that the message you receive is you will get a call back within TWO business days. So you have to try calling their call centre, which is approximately a 2-hour wait (during which time you have to listen to their annoying propaganda). They then do not actually call you back when you leave a voicemail. In 2022 their staff are STILL working from home and instead of having the calls automatically forwarded to their home office phone, they only allow you to leave a voicemail.
